Local lass crafts small screen magic

A TELEVISION producer, though one of the creative forces behind what makes it onto the small screen, is not often seen or heard. Ziphindiwe Sogoni is one of those brains who craft behind-the-scenes at Bay TV, the Eastern Cape’s first TV station.

The entertainment and lifestyle producer on Bay TV’s We Are Loud keeps the full-time BA media student’s plate full, but she enjoys the thrill of meeting her daily deadlines.

Sogoni was selected from hundreds of her peers to join the Bay TV team after entering auditions at NMMU last year. Today she is part of the production team and cannot imagine a career elsewhere.

She chose Angelo’s in Walmer for brunch, where she enjoyed a Thai chicken curry.
