HUNKY heartthrob and television presenter Janez Vermeiren will bring a touch of masculine glitz and glamour to this year’s The Herald and Reach for a Dream Wear matric dance dress competition when he takes centre spot as the guest of honour at the final on November 16.
The 34-year-old burst onto our screens as a handyman on SABC3’s Top Billing before becoming one of the show’s full- time presenters.
“My mother, who is a breast cancer survivor, and father, a famous artist, are my inspiration,” he says. The well- travelled Vermeiren backpacked throughout Europe for a year after completing matric and stayed in Belgium for four years.
Once voted Cosmopolitan’s sexiest man of the year, he is now the father of an eight- year-old son and the co-owner of Full Circle Model and Celebrity Management.
