Enter your matric farewell dress

DID you go to a matric farewell this year?

If you have, then have you entered your beautiful matric farewell dress in our Wear Your Dream competition yet?

If not, it is time to go online to the competition picture gallery that is posted on The Herald website (herald2.timesmedia.co.za/gallery/100) for some inspiration.

Don’t wait any longer to enter your dress because entries close on October 10 – only two weeks away – and you can win prizes worth more than R8000 if your dress is chosen as the winner in one of the three categories.

The Herald and Reach for a Dream are looking for 30 finalists to take home gorgeous prizes and model their matric farewell number at the gala finale.

All finalists will have their dress featured in La Femme and win prizes as well as a spot on the catwalk for the gala finale function to be held at Running Waters on November 16.

Prizes include weekends away at the Tsitsikamma Lodge, beauty and skincare pampering from Anél’s and Casa Mia Health Spa and Guesthouse, meal vouchers from News Cafe, beautiful crystal jewellery from Jenni Collections and professional photo shoots from Pro-Design.

You may enter a dress in one of the following categories:

  • Home made (made by a non-professional);

  • Designer made: hired;

  • Designer made: bought.

See the entry form on The Herald and La Femme’s Facebook pages, as well as the entry form also available on Reach for a Dream’s Wear Your Dream competition Facebook page (search for: Wear-Your-Dream-matric- dress-competition).

Entries close on October 10, so don’t wait until the last minute.
