Business booming in Bathurst

THE Corner Gallery in Bathurst  is gearing up for a creative Christmas season with art, design, screen-printing, woodwork and ceramic and production studios in full swing.
Since opening in 2007 the demand for its products – especially the award winning hand-printed fabric – has exceeded capacity.
Due to this demand, manageress Gladys Manyati, production manager Mavis Funde, art director Tori Stowe now are joined by new business manager Craig Stowe.
Many of the products sold at the gallery are designed by Tori and currently sold exclusively at The Corner.  Her husband Craig now is joining the team to focus on production and marketing – to fulfil the potential of the products.
The Stowes and their team have spent the last couple of months working on new textile and ceramic designs, drawings and stationery in preparation for the busy Christmas season.
Gladys Manyati, The Corner’s shop manageress, has new owl and teddy products in her line of soft toys, and is proud to present her brand new range of kids clothing  made up by seamstresses in Nemato Township, Port Alfred.
The Corner Gallery is the exclusive outlet for the following well known artists and artisans: Charmaine Haines, Meshack Masuku, Jess Hornby, David Strappini, Southseas Mohair, Angus Gillis Foundation and many, many more talented Eastern Cape people.
