Shoes, glorious shoes!

SHOE lovers the world over will step into cinemas to view a new documentary, God Save My Shoes, which will be released internationally next month.
The hour long documentary seeks to explore the special relationship between a woman and  her shoes  and according to the film’s director Julie Bensra,  “the fiery emotions that shoes exert on most women (and on quite some men)”.
The film crew travelled all over the world to interview everyday women and scour the walk in closets of top celebrities such as Fergie of Black Eyed Peas, former Destiny’s Child band member Kelly Rowland and extreme shoe collector Beth Shak who reportedly own 1200 designer shoes.
The movie also includes interviews with top shoe designers and psychologists with designer Christian Louboutin qouted as saying: “Women have a carnal relationship with their shoes…it’s their prerogative”. The first screening of the documentary will be on October 4 in France.
