A WOMEN’S haven, a political party, a firm of attorneys and countless ordinary citizens have opened their hearts to Avril Gordon, a woman subjected to months of violent physical abuse.
Since The Herald broke the story last week, readers have offered help in many forms, including setting up a bank account.
La Femme has received several inquiries so, if you would like to help other women as well as Gordon, or are someone in need of help, contact Prospect Hill Crisis Centre, the new name for Yokhuselo Haven.
If you would like specifically to help Gordon, this is the bank account the DA Women’s Network has set up through Pagden’s Attorneys for her medical expenses, which will be substantial.
