Two Vans’ offbeat look at political ‘hot potatoes’ a must-see

[caption id="attachment_211025" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Daniel Richards[/caption] National Arts Festival review: Pay Back The Curry, by ExploSIV Productions,  directed by Rob van Vuuren and written by Mike van Graan, featuring Daniel Richards. At Masonic Back, today at 6pm and tomorrow at 10pm When you have the two Vans in charge you know that the show is going to be excellent. Both are well known to festinos over the years and this year is no exception.

Richards is an excellent actor and in his time travel machine he starts in the land of bliss racism has gone.

Then we go back to apartheid that reflects all that we don’t want and then to the land in between.

War has stopped and the land is still – there are more schools but no education, there is conflict and degradation. He takes off the university debacle and the lack of understanding of what a university really is.

And then he goes into full flight on SAA, where only the chosen (government and lackeys) are in business class and have parachutes in case they crash – blow the rest.
