Dan Brown's new novel out next year

Global publishing phenomenon Dan Brown, author of the international blockbusters Inferno and The Da Vinci Code, has written his latest Robert Langdon thriller, titled Origin. Origin will be published in the UK next September by Transworld Publishers, a division of Penguin Random House. In keeping with his trademark style, Brown interweaves codes, religion, history, art and architecture into this new novel.

Origin thrusts Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon into the dangerous intersection of humankind’s most enduring questions, and the earthshaking discovery that will answer them. Tom Hanks has played Langdon in the film versions of the books. Doubleday will release the novel simultaneously in the US and Canada and it will also be available as an e-book and an audiobook. “Over the past 15 years it has been a privilege to publish Dan Brown's unique blend of electrifying storytelling, historical reinterpretation and genius code making,” says Brown’s UK editor Bill Scott-Kerr of Transworld.
