Montagu beef stew with peaches

WINTER is not the time for salads and cold meats – warm up your family with a pot of beef stew, using Montague yellow cling peaches for a sweet and tangy meal that is full of comfort.
This recipe is from Montagu Dried Fruit and Nuts and serves four.
INGREDIENTS:
- 750 g cubed beef Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 30-45ml oil
- 2 onions,
- quartered 2 cloves garlic,
- crushed 3 sticks celery,roughly chopped
- 5ml cinnamon
- 5ml cumin
- 5ml ground coriander
- 2 bay leaves
- 375-500ml beef stock
- 250g Montagu yellow peaches
- 125ml Montagu raw almonds
- Fresh coriander and
- mint
