Hypnotist's show postponed after crash

NELSON Mandela Bay fans of the popular Andre the Hilarious Hypnotist, who was scheduled to perform at the Boardwalk Amphitheatre this week, will have to wait a few more months to see him in action after he was involved in a car accident a week ago.

Andre was due to charm fans from today until Saturday, but his show has been postponed until about October to allow for his full recovery.

Fans who bought tickets for the show will be refunded and are advised to contact their nearest Computicket outlet.

Boardwalk marketing manager Tanuja Gangabishun said the organisers regretted the postponement and wished Andre a speedy recovery.

"We were told he will not be able to perform for some time as a result of the nature of the injuries.

"We apologise to those who were looking forward to seeing him perform this week. We are hoping to reschedule his shows for October and will advise as soon as new dates have been confirmed." – Zandile Mbabela
