Chance for fans to lead choir

POPULAR gospel choir Joyous Celebration returns to Port Elizabeth next month – and fans can win the opportunity to lead the choir in song on stage.

The choir's co-founder, Lindelani Mkhize, said fans would get to see talented musicians Sylvester Funani and Phelo Bala perform at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Indoor Sports Centre at the Missionvale Campus on August 1 and 2.

"After selling out all our shows in the One Purpose tour thus far we are more than confident that PE will be no different and our fans will be impressed," Mkhize said.

"We have left no stone unturned in preparing for the show. We want to leave the windy city begging for more Joyous music. We want them to sing along and get up on their feet and dance along."

Another co-founder, Jabu Hlongwane, said they were giving back to loyal fans through the MTN Joyous Conductor Experience.

"One lucky winner will receive a unique opportunity to conduct a song of their choice from the MTN Joyous Celebration 18th album on stage. Our fans have supported us from infancy to this musical juggernaut that we have become. We want our fans to share in our success which they have helped build," Hlongwane said.

The competition is open to all MTN PayAsYouGo and TopUp customers and they can enter by simply dialling *130*1#.
