Heavenly delights find their way to me
THE PE Opera House was the place to be last Saturday where the Take Note Jazz Band, featuring Asanda Bam, were doing their thing.
It was well worth attending as Take Note are in a league of their own and Asanda's angelic voice left me speechless.

Take Note looked slick in their hired suits, but perhaps band members Sakhile and Lefa's futures are too bright since they opted for dark shades.
Joyous Celebration member Sylvester Funani seemed over the moon – you'd think he was the one performing on stage.
And Umhlobo Wenene's jazz presenter, Sinbad, decided to do a show of his own. It seems he was trying to dance but Skinnerbek thinks he should stick to presenting.
Next I was off to St George's Park for the Bay's first-ever Grand White event. It looked like a mini heaven with everyone dressed in white. The performances by Boost Entertainment's artists was marvellous and those two cute guys who played with fire had my pulse racing.
Whoever said white peeps can't dance need to have their heads read.
Everyone had fun, and when the French DJ Didier took to the desks I just had to shake my curvalicious booty. Skinnerbek was too tired to do anything after that and so I headed home to bond with my bed.
On Tuesday I attended the launch of a television production skills development project involving Urban Brew Studios in partnership with Bay TV and The Media Workshop.
