ROBUST Samoan speedster Paul Perez jetted into Port Elizabeth yesterday to confirm speculation he will be in the mix when the EP Kings name their team to play Western Province in the Currie Cup Premier Division in August.

Rugby insiders have been suggesting for some time that the powerful 27-year-old wing would return to the Kings to bolster their team ahead of their return to the top flight after a 12year absence.

Crowd favourite Perez has been troubled by his right knee recently, but reports indicate a recent operation proved to be a 100% success and that his condition will be assessed later this week.
