EARLY voters in Nelson Mandela Bay started queuing early this morning but a number of problems have already been reported.

A voting station in Wells Estate has not opened and voters are getting frustrated. Some of them started queuing as early as 4am and were still waiting to cast their vote by 8:30am.

Voting stations across the country are meant to open by 7am and close at 9pm.

Students in the Wells Estate queue said they were voting for the party that can supply them with bursaries.

Delays have also been reported in Despatch and Port Elizabeth’s northern areas where it seems ballot box sealers and ballot papers have not yet been delivered.
