Eskom appoints new national spokesperson

Eskom on Wednesday said it was pleased to announce that Khulu Phasiwe had been appointed as its new national spokesperson.

Phasiwe has been occupying the position of deputy spokesperson since December 2014.

"Phasiwe is a seasoned journalist and communicator‚ having worked as a financial journalist for both the Business Report and the Business Day newspapers respectively‚" Eskom said in a statement.

"He left journalism to work as a media manager for First National Bank’s commercial division before joining Eskom’s media desk in 2008.

“His dedication to his craft‚ patience‚ attention to detail and interactive approach to communication are traits that have moulded his overall personality and which will surely stand him in good stead as he embarks on this challenging path in his life." -RDM News Wire
