The KwaDwesi branch of Absa Bank has closed and will reopen at Kenako Mall on Monday.
The new-look Absa branch in New Brighton is part of the bank’s R1.2-billion programme aimed at improving its branch and ATM network.
In addition to the standard in-branch services, the new branch will feature advanced cash-handling teller machines and a business teller to process bulk transactions.
Absa Eastern Cape retail banking regional executive Tshiwela Mhlantla said: “Since 2013, Absa has been reshaping its branch network across, improving the infrastructure and technology . . . to help our customers prosper into the future.
“The new Absa Kenako Mall branch is a proud step in the right direction.”
