WE ALL like to feel beautiful and when you feel beautiful, you can conquer the world.

This is the reasoning behind a thriving Bay beauty business which started out in a garage in Motherwell in 2011, and has now expanded to two beauty salons based in Newton Park and Motherwell.

trepreneur and business owner Nondumiso Kafile said she always wanted to start her own beauty business. “Sometimes people should just look around and use what they have instead of waiting until they have the money,” Kafile said.

Growing up in New Brighton, Kafile matriculated in 1994 from KwaMagxaki High School and studied towards a BA degree at the University of Transkei, majoring in Sociology.

“Due to financial difficulty I could not finish my studies, and started working in various retail jobs. I was unemployed for a while and living in Port Elizabeth when a friend told me about The Hope Factory.
