Hotel managers receive awards

TWO Nelson Mandela Bay managers received awards for excellence in their field at the recent City Lodge Hotel group annual conference.
Town Lodge Port Elizabeth general manager Glenn Pappin was named the group's hotelier of the year for the second time.
The group has five hotels in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Pappin, who has managed Town Lodge since 2010 when it opened, also received the group's business driver of the year award.
Port Elizabeth City Lodge general manager Adrian Worthington was presented with the annual people caring for people award, which he accepted on behalf of his Summerstrand hotel.
The two hoteliers were presented with the awards at the group's 26th annual leaders' conference held in Mauritius earlier this month. – Herald Reporter
