THE Aspen Group is here to stay. In fact, Port Elizabeth is the centre of its universe, chief executive Stephen Saad said yesterday.
He recommitted the R120billion multinational pharmaceutical giant’s relationship with Nelson Mandela Bay inhis acceptance speech when having an honorary Doctor of Commerce degree conferred on him at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s graduation ceremony.
Saad said the accolade was more meaningful as it was given in the same city that Aspen had chosen as the centre of its global operations.
“Port Elizabeth is the centre of our universe. It is the largest operation of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
