IF not managed properly, HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) could lead to high absenteeism in the workplace, a drop in productivity levels, low employee morale and a financial crisis.
So says South African Business Coalition on HIV/Aids (Sabcoha) chief executive Brad Mears, who launched the coalition’s Eastern Cape business sector strategic plan for HIV, TB and STIs for 2012 to 2016.
